How images are inserted by the administrator on the pages? In the processor (timymce) it is not possible to upload an image but only by setting a url which is quite difficult. Is there any add-on that does this job?

What you ask a lot of custom work and core changes, i can't help you here because is not such a system, and to build one takes time.
